According to Deadline, Pete Davidson has been tapped for the main function in Miramax’s upcoming horror thriller movie titled The Home, which will likely be set in a retirement residence. It hails from The Purge movies director James DeMonaco who will helm the venture which serves as his first horror movie outdoors the Blumhouse’s blockbuster franchise.

The Home will see Davidson portraying a troubled man named Max, “who starts working at a retirement home and realizes its residents and caretakers harbor sinister secrets,” reads the synopsis. “As he investigates the building and its forbidden fourth floor, he starts to uncover connections to his own past and upbringing as a foster child.”
The movie will likely be written and produced by DeMonaco and Adam Canto, with Miramax’s Bill Block and Sebastian Okay. Lemercier additionally serving as producers. Production is anticipated to start later this month
