Banijay Americas Ups Joe Schlosser, Jaycee Medina – Deadline

Veteran communications govt Joe Schlosser has been promoted to EVP, Communications, Banijay Americas, and Jaycee Medina has been named VP Communications and Marketing,

The promotions have been introduced immediately by Cris Abrego, chairman of the Americas, Banijay and president and CEO, Endemol Shine Holdings.

Additionally, Abbey Maloney was promoted to publicist, Banijay Americas. All three are based mostly within the firm’s North Hollywood, Calif. headquarters and work carefully with Banijay’s UK-based group communications group.

Schlosser, who was beforehand SVP Communications for Endemol Shine North America, has been with the Banijay-owned studio since 2012. He leads all exterior and inner communications efforts for the division throughout North America and Latin America, reporting to Abrego.

Medina, who was previously govt director, communications, Endemol Shine North America, now leads all advertising efforts for Banijay Americas in his new function.

Medina, who joined the corporate in 2012, leads all day-to-day advertising tasks with community companions throughout all collection campaigns and works carefully with Banijay Rights, Banijay’s international distribution arm, on worldwide advertising supplies for produced collection and B2B initiatives.

“Joe is a strategic and well-respected professional who has done a tremendous job leading our communications efforts for many years now,” says Abrego. “I’m excited that Joe will continue in this role, working closely with me and our leadership team as we continue to expand our output across the Americas.”

Schlosser added, “Working alongside Cris and our teams here in the U.S. and across the Americas has been one of the most rewarding and enjoyable roles of my career,” stated Schlosser. “And I’ve been extraordinarily lucky to have had Jaycee right here with me for almost a decade now, serving to lead all our comms and advertising efforts and preserving me in line every day.
